Won’t install and gives no reason

The reason is there is no such iPadOS version. The current iPadOS version is 17.2.

Well, you should tell us each and every step you took to get to this point.
Also tell us about any experience with beta software.
And of course you posted in the iPad area so presumably you’re referring to some iPad. You should tell us the model and current iPadOS version.
Then why is it telling me to install it?
