Voice texting not working on carplay

Every time I try to answer a text on CarPlay or want to contact someone to call it bleeps out of screen and resets. Brand new BMW.

CarPlay text dictation stopped working I have a 2020 Toyota Prius. CarPlay has been working flawlessly with my iPhone 13 until about 2 months ago when text dictation stopped working. I can prompt Siri to start a text but it doesn’t hear the message I want to send. It just times out. Other requests like asking for directions or time-of-day work fine. I got a loaner car a few days ago (‘21 Camry) and tested text dictation using my phone and cable in that car. Worked fine! That suggests that the problem lies with my car, but I’ve no idea how to fix it. I’ve tried removing and re-adding my phone and toggling CarPlay on/off in both the phone and car. I even applied a firmware update to the car’s infotainment system. Anything else I can try?

CarPlay not hearing my voice for text messages For quite so time now, when I get a text message in my 2021 jeep wrangler, I click on it, the car reads it aloud, asks if I want to reply, I say “yes” and it acts and though it can’t hear me saying “yes”, I am unable to record and send a message back. All other speaker functions in my vehicle work, including talking on the phone through the car via CarPlay. Anyone else having these issues and have found a resolve?

talk to text while connected to Apple CarPlay issue I have a 2018 Audi Q7. I don’t think it’s an interface issue with the car but what recently has started happening is I will begin speaking my text and after about 10 to 15 words Siri just says “sending“. She just cuts me off and that’s it. I have been experiencing this for the last two weeks and it’s making me a little crazy. Has anybody else experienced this or does anybody have a fix for this?
