Well, the message was 100% a scam, but it seems you permitted the criminals to access your computer? It is the case? Did you provide personal or financial information to the criminals?
I became skeptical when they started talking about me paying for a new IP address. I've been asked to get contact information for a another Apple person to verify what they were asking for. They gave me several phone numbers but none of the numbers work.
My Mac is now on a state where it says it's downloading new software with the black screen. Should I try to restart the computer my iPad where the original message came from and my iPhone seem to be fine.
