I am unable to transfer music from Iphone 14 to my PC using cable/sync option as of 1/1/2024.

Hi. I typically plug in cable to PC, open phone icon, hit sync, and new songs appear in PC library. I have tried multiple times and looked up different ways to transfer music to PC using sync, but I can't figure out why the new 5 or 6 songs I purchased from the iTunes store will not transfer. The only new thing that happened, I added a gift card I received for xmas. Thanks for the time.

No, you didn't word it wrong, I mis-read it. Well then, if all els fails, you can download the purchased music directly to iTunes on your PC. See the 'Redownload music in iTunes on your PC' section in:

Redownload music - Apple Support


In general, iTunes software is design to transfer music from the computer to the iPhone. Exceptions are for playlists and possibly music you purchased from the iTunes Store. You should be able to download purchased music without even connecting your iPhone as long as you use the same Apple ID.


When you try to download the music to your PC do you get any (error) messages?
