I am using mack book Pro M3 whenever I change my profile picture at my profile it was changing on that time only but again it remains same system generated profile picture why this problem occurs and I have updated latest software version I have shared my screen shots regarding this issue please take any action regarding this by giving bug free software update thank you .

Hi, not positive, but I think this file nees deleting with System Settings not open, then restart & choose a pic again.
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist
~ tilde indicates your user library folder
Apple hid the Users' Library folders...

Use the Command-Shift-. toggle in Finder to show or to hide hidden files and folders
