I’ve had to replace 2 iPads because the charge port quit working. The little posts get bent. A charging pad is greatly needed!

There is no version of the iPad with wireless charging capabilities.
Actually that’s not exactly true. iPad Pro 9.7 inch model MLQ82LL/A will charge though it’s pencil charging port. It’s on the edge. Logitech made a really awesome stand that would charge the iPads of that generation through the pencil port. I’ve kept mine because of that. I use it for a home controller. So look at the edge of your older iPad. If you see the three brass colored metal dots there is a good chance it could charge that way. Logitech no longer sells the stand. Boo. It is magnificent!

I love my case for my iPad iPad Pro 11-inch, that uses the Smart Connector. It’s a case and stand with keyboard, and has a usb-c port in the joint of the case to charge the iPad and keyboard. On Amazon they call it the “Apple Magic Keyboard: IPad keyboard case” I can’t find any other model information anywhere on it.

I have just bought an Ipad Air 6 (M2), and I discovered that it doesn’t support the wireless charging 😬.
While iPhones of recent years support MagSafe wireless charging, no model of iPad has ever supported wireless charging.
LotusPilot, to most of us... wireless means we don't have to plug in a wired cable to the device. Technically inductive charging isn't what our ipads do... but that isn't the only kind of "wireless" charging there is. I"m glad to not have to plug in a cable as that gets messy, tangled on the desk, and runs a risk of damaged ports when I grab and go. Not having wires plugged in IS wireless.

Logitech were charging the iPad via an electrical connection (not wirelessly) - i.e., via the iPad's Smart Connector (this being the three "brass coloured metal dots" to which you refer).
Logitech 939-001470 Base Charging Stand For Ipad Pro 12 1st and 2nd gen, the 10.5 inch and 9.7 inch and ipad air 2.
For newer ipad there are new wireless charging for the new m4 ipad pro's out there. the older stands won't work because they moved the magnets inside the ipad and location of the smart connector. You can find wireless ipad chargers for the newer ipads too. Make sure the generation of ipad matches though.
