After iOS 17 was installed I now receive my wife’s phone calls and texts. I called apple support and was told it was a glitch in the new OS and if we used different Apple ID’s the problem would be resolved?

The only solution is to do what Apple has recommended for years and stop sharing the same Apple ID. Until you do that, your call logs and messages will not be merged.

My wife and I have shared an Apple ID for many years. The latest update has scrambled and merged our phone numbers where I now get her phone calls and texts.
