I am using macOS Catalina, version 10,15.7 on a 27 inch late 2013 iMac. I am asking because after the last update I lost the possibility of paying bills online. Is there a remedy to my predicament, please?

The latest OS your iMac can officially run is Catalina, unfortunately. However, if your issue is paying bills online, probably an updated web browser is what you need. Although Safari doesn't get updated on older versions of macOS, you can download the latest versions of other browsers such as Firefox or Chrome.

Yes, that's correct. But you do not have to uninstall Safari (you can if you want). You can have more than one web browser, but just don't use Safari.

So, do I understand it that if I ditch Safari and uninstall it and install Firefox or Chrome I can get the latest updates and security updates for these two even if my computer is late 2013? Apologies if I am asking for spoon feeding but I wish to make sure I understand correctly. English is not my mother language. Thank you.
