macOS Ventura (13.1) print settings don't save--any resolution?

Since upgrading to macOS Ventura (13.1) print settings don't save. This is REALY agrvating because I have to stop and reinstall the printer every five minutes and it is getting old....

Is the only resolution to go back to a pervious working version of the OS?

After the update, I am now missing "Print to Desktop" under printer options drop down list. All of my other printers are there, just missing this option. I used this feature a lot. Printing issues on Pixma TR7820 using iMac iOS somona 14 and Pages Bought new printer. Canon Pixma TR7820. Begin to have communication problems with the feed trays. I have finally isolated the problem to Pages. When I indicate in the Pages printer software to print from the main tray, the printer defaults and gives me error messages. When export to pdf and do the same it will print. There are other feed tray issues out there. One tech said the solution was in the way Apple sets presets in the os. Any insights? Canon or Apple software or both? I am using iMac os Somona 14. All software appears to be updated.

I am now using adobe to open stuff but it is extra steps that add up to a lot of lost time. Printing to new HP printer 5100. Any help would be appreciated because I use this simple command all day every day for what I do. Thanks in advance for any help.

It is fixed in the new version of macOS! Two (2) years later!
