MacBook Pro - Startup keyboard shortcuts are not working.

None of the startup option do anything. Option key at startup gives no startup disk choice (just boots up anyway). Same with Command R and Command, Option, P +R.

SMC reset attempted with no result.

Keyboard (built-in) work just fine after boot. None of the preboot keyboard shortcuts do anything. Even with an external keyboard.

Cannot get into recovery mode to run the troubleshooting steps I want.

You do not say if this is Intel or M1...?

Is this your personal machine or managed...?
