As the title says. My iMac doesn't want to work and I want to transfer all my files from there to an iPad.
My iMac turns on but then it stays on the Apple logo and then it restarts again and again. I already tried everything. I want to at least be able to save the files that I have there.
I also have a Macbook and an iPhone (I’m only mentioning it in case it's not possible with an iPad but with another device instead.)

Without a working Mac what you are asking may be impossible, especially if the HD is crashed on the iMac. We would need to know why the iMac is not working. I STRONGLY suggest that you find an independent Apple Authorized Service Provider that can see and work on the iMac and they may be able to assist you. If you don't know of any Apple Authorized Service Provider's in your general area please click Apple Authorized Service Provider Locator (AASP) & Genius Appointment to start finding one.
However if you were using iCloud to sync the devices a lot of your data may already be available on the iPad. If you were not using iCloud then you have narrowed your options pretty severely.
