Returning Engraved Apple Pencil

I just bought a new iPad and engraved Apple Pencil for drawing and I realised now that I’m trying to pair it that I bought the wrong Apple Pencil, can I return it or am I screwed? Purchase date was 1.2.24 and received 1.4.24- so within the return time limit as I understand.
