Kindle stopped working after latest ios upgrade. How can we back off latest ios software until this is fixed

amazon acknowledges the issue but has no fix after a week. It works on my iphone i have not upgraded yet. I want to back off the latest software until this is fixed. How do i do that?

Yestarday Amazon released an update for Kindle app (version 7.0.1) that should resolve that problem.

It's available on AppStore.
