iPhone’s Random Wi-Fi Drops (iPhone keeps disconnecting from WiFi) #The Solution that work really.2024

Hello Apple Community,

For several months, I experienced random Wi-Fi drops on my iPhone. During this time, I didn't have the energy or time to investigate and solve the issue myself. I searched online and found that many people faced the same issue, but none of the solutions worked for me.

After a great deal of frustration, I decided to delve into the problem myself yesterday and eventually found a solution.

The problem seems to be that the iPhone doesn't adapt when the router shifts from one Wi-Fi standard to another (e.g., 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax). Generally, the router is set to 'auto' for these standards.

The solution I found is to fix the standard to the latest one specific to your router's generation. For example, if your router is 6G, select 'ax'; if it's 5G, select 'ac'.

Here's how you can do it:

1. Log into your router settings from your browser using 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 (depending on your router).

2. Go to the settings menu and select 'wireless'.

3. Then go to the advanced options of each 2.4GHz, 5GHz.

4. Look for '802.11 Mode' and set it as I explained above.

I hope this information helps others facing the same issue. and this insight might assist Apple specialists in finding a permanent solution, 'knowing the problem is half the solution'.

Wishing you all the best. Stay safe!

Cheers.
