The option for interest free financing requires you made the purchase with an Apple Card Mastercard and you requested the interest free financing plan (ACMI — Apple Card Monthly Installments) at the time of purchase. It cannot be done automatically, you must be a card holder and request ACMI.

Maybe. Please contact an Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs Bank and explain that you requested ACMI and you want to verify that you’re setup. If you’re not setup for ACMI ask the specialist to setup an installment plan for you. You’re at their mercy, so see what they say. If the first contact says no you might try calling back and getting a different specialist. GS is usually very accommodating but changes happen.
