iphone 12 camera issue

so my iphone 12’s camera’s suddenly stopped working and just show a black screen on both sides. but what’s weird is that on facetime the selfie cam works but when I which to the back it stops and stays blurred.

obviously the phone is a little old and the back is cracked and has been for while so is there a way to fix this without going to apple and paying 500$ or getting told to by a new phone ?
