"Liquid detected in lightning connecter" with no liquid damage.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max I had since launch. But, after about a year, this message started popping up. Since I got a new phone at the time I didn't think much of it, and kept it safe with me. A few days ago, I gave it to my daughter, but she now finds it annoying to always have to press "Emergency Override" everytime she charges. This happens with every charger and the phone has never had contact with water. Any help?

Not sure how to circumvent that notification when the iPhone is connected to the lightning port. I am assuming that your daughter got the iPhone from you and she had erased and reset the iPhone to factory settings before making it her own with her Apple ID. The notification still persists and that tells me that this is a hardware issue. I recommend that you get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.

Use a MagSafe Charger exclusively.
