Handwritten Note disappeared from my iPad's Notes App

Greetings. So I making notes with my apple pen and at one point the pen started lagging but I was still able to continue writing. The lagging was disturbing me so I decided to close the app and refresh it again. When I reopened the app, I couldn't find my note at all, except a "New Note" that was completely empty.

Things I did:

1. I refreshed the app multiple times and the note remained empty, no data came back.

2.I restarted my iPad and still nothing happened.

3.Even though I had updated my iOs a few days ago, I updated it to the even newer iOS17.2

Still nothing happened. I experimented with another note that wasn't useful. This time, nothing lagged but when I refreshed the app I LOST THE BODY OF THAT TEXT TOO!!

Lastly, since everything was backed up on icloud, it made matters worst because all the new changes synced across all my devices. So honestly I'm very disappointed and stressed out because I lost months of work in a minute and I don't know how to reach out to apple to help me recover it.

Don't trust the notes app. Ever. Always write notes in a third party app.
