Airpods icon in bluetooth

why does my airpods pro 2nd gen show as headphones in settings and when i click the bluetooth button in my control center? when i had 1st gen airpods it showed as airpods but now the icon doesnt even show in the top part, i have to click on control center then bluetooth to see it. i cannot turn on transparency mode and those stuff. anyone know why?
