I've looked everywhere and tried various steps, but I can't find a way to move existing photo albums into an existing folder. Under a Folder, you can only add a NEW photo album. I don't want to have to create new albums and them move all of the pictures in existing albums. I can't believe there's no way to slide existing albums into a folder. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Are you asking about Photos on an iPhone or iPad?
In Photos for Mac you can simply drag the album to the folder you want in the sidebar of Photos. But this is not possible in Photos iOS on an iPhone.
If you own a Mac as well, arrange the albums and albums in Photos for Mac and then let them sync with iCloud Photos to your iPhone. Otherwise you have to plan your folder structure in advance and create all albums directly in the folder where you want them. You may want to send feedback to Apple with a feature request. Thanks. I do not own a Mac. I was asking about managing photos/albums on the iphone and/or ipad. From your answer, it appears it is not possible to add/move an existing album into a folder. Seems like very limited design/planning by Apple, but such is life. Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it.
