Reset an IPhone to factory settings.
I do not have the phone with me and I want to reset it to factory settings

If you enabled Find My on the missing phone.....AND....you can locate the phone, you have the option to erase the data on the phone and remove the phone from the list of devices that are using your Apple ID.
But....you might not want to remove the phone from the list of devices using your Apple ID, because this will allow anyone who has the phone to set it up again as their own.
If you did not enable Find My.....before....the phone was lost, there is no way to connect to the phone.
Log on to www.icloud.com/find
Enter your Apple ID and Password
Does the phone appear on the map? If you see "Offline", that means that one or more of the following is true:
1) The battery has run down
2) The phone has been powered off
3) The phone does not have an Internet connection where it is currently located
