Shared notes doesn’t update

I’ve had a shared note with my friend for four years and it has always worked fine. After I updated my phone to iOS17 I don’t get the updates he makes in the note. He can see the changes I do, but I don’t see the changes he does. I’ve tried turning the phone off and on, turning iCloud for notes off and on, making a new note from both phones, but nothing works. He has an iPhone X and can’t get the iOS17 update, could that have something to do with it? Can it be fixed?

Where were the Notes? The pic below is self-explanatory. Notes are always synced through Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other email Account

The note is synced with iCloud. And like I said, I’ve tried turning the settings off and on, and tried making new notes. And there is no problem with the sharing, cause both of us have the note and it’s a collaboration note. I just find it weird that he sees all my changes in the note, but I can’t see any of his anymore. Even tho I click the update button and it says I am up to date. And I know for a fact that he has made changes in the note.
