I'm new in the Apple universe and this is my first Mac (Macbook Pro M2 2023, 14'', Sonoma 14.2.1)
A few days ago my internal display started to flicker and flashing randomly. Here is an video of the issue: https://streamable.com/hbq54p
Things i tried:
Rebooted / Safe Mode / Changed Display Setting (true color etc..) / Apple Diagnostics
Even in safe mode the flickering occurs. I think this has to be a software
problem and not a hardware problem. When i do a screen recording the
flickering cannot be seen.
This started randomly and i didn't installed new software.
Any ideas? Next thing i will try is a new installation of MacOS.
Plug in an external monitor and compare your results externally... this would be telling.
note: a screen recording/ screen shot comes direct from the GPU— bypassing the internal Display.
If the Mac is not working as expected new out of the box— return it or exchange for one that does work.
you have a limited 14 days for an exchange or refund for any reason—see Returns & Refunds Order status
