Can’t access Paramount +

I've just signed up for Paramount + via my Apple ID but I can’t sign in either on the Apple TV or on the iPad. The Paramount + app on the Apple TV directs me to enter a code on the “Activate” page on the Paramount + website but when I do that, although the web page tells me I’ve been successful it won’t let me move off the “Activate” page and the Apple TV screen tells me I have no access.


Can anyone help me to gain access or tell me how to reclaim my subscription from Apple? Thanks.

The paramount channel should show up on the left hand panel in the tv app on the side menu in the Apple TV App in the Apple TV box and Apple app on iPad and other devices. It can’t be accessed on the paramount App because you signed up through Apple. I realize they are allowing you to verify you signed in via Apple to do this but it doesn’t appear to be easy to do so do it as instructed above. It’s also in the channels & Apps section in the Home view if you scroll down. See screenshot from iPad:

I’d suggest seeing if you could sign out in the Apple TV in User & Accounts - Default User- Your Name - Store, then restart your Apple TV. You can do this in Settings - System - Restart. Once restarted, sign back in. Have your iPad handy as it asks you to enter a verification code on that to do it for you. Click Done (on the iPad) Then test Paramount. Or you can enter your Apple ID manually.

Thanks. I’ve now got access to the Paramount+ app on my iPad by accessing through the Apple TV app, but still can’t get it working on the Apple TV, even trying through the Apple TV app. I still get the message, “YOU DON’T HAVE ACCESS TO PARAMOUNT+ WITHIN YOUR SUBSCRIPTION PACKAGE” (All in capitals).


I had a previous subscription to Paramount+ through Apple and that worked fine.
