Apple TV not turning on/off my Hisense TV

I can use Apple TV connected to my 2023 Hisense QLED TV, it will control the volume. It won't turn the TV on or off, TV setting for HDMI and CEC are all turned on and also set up on Apple TV items to control TV. Worked fine on my old Samsung TV but won't work on the Hisense one.

Apple TV no longer controlling TV My Apple TV is no longer turning on my Sony Bravia after having worked perfectly for a long time. It seems to have happened in the last 24 hours. The ‘Control TVs and AV Receivers’ option is stuck on ‘Off’. I have power-cycled (on units and from the wall), replugged all connections, ensured HDMI-CEC is enabled on my Bravia, reset WIFI, and even re-paired the remote. The software is up to date: ‘tvOS 18.3.1 [22K561]’. Might there be a bug in the latest release?

apple tv stopped controlling my tv after update My apple tv won’t turn my tv on or off or control the volume after updating to 16.1. It used to work perfectly fine. The TV’s own remote can still control the TV. I even tried the learn new device setting. The Apple TV detected the signals, but still doesn’t control the TV.

You’ll need to Contact Hisense customer support. If the settings you describe are indeed set that way then it should be working.
