Canva lagging extremely on MacBook Pro

Hi everyone,

I have a four year old MacBook Pro here and everything seems to work fine. Only problem I have is the Canva website as well as the Canva App for MacOS. They are both very laggy and I just don't know what to do about it.

I formatted the HD today and installed Norton Anti-Virus as well as Photoshop. Now I am currently downloading the Canva App again and it is downloading with 8kb/s.

Download speed for Photoshop was perfectly fine and other websites can be accessed at the usual speed. It is just Canva that is lagging. Be it the App or when using Safari or Chrome.

I really don't know what to do but I do need Canva. Maybe you guys have a few thoughts on this. I attached the EtreCheck Report.

Thanks

Daniel

Remove Symantec/Norton Anti-virus & Endpoint security and 360 security. There is no good reason to have it, and it causes most lags.

Malwarebytes and Avast are better at detection, and offer manual methods to remove viruses that do not eat up background tasks.

Why are you skipping a memory bank going from bank 0 to bank 2. What happened to bank 1? Now this isn't true of every model, but most memory modules like to work in pairs on consecutive RAM banks. If your RAM Is not removable, this is not cause for concern. See http://www.macsales.com/ to verify if your RAM is removable, and take to an authorized service technician if it is.

Your Flash drive is formatted for PCs. That can slow things down. Unless you are transfering to PCs, copy the information to the Mac, and reformat with Disk Utility for APFS or HFS Extended GUID (if you use Sierra or older systems you need the older filing system). Leaving flash drives plugged in while working is generally not a good idea as the system lags for every device you add to the system. Unless of course your system doesn't have enough space. Which brings me to another point, your flash drive is almost full. It has been found to be a general rule no storage device should be over 85% full. Systems use available space for caching files when they open and close files.

Norton Secure VPN shouldn't even be used. Only companies and schools use VPNs to limit net traffic. This itself can slow you down.

Norton Lifelock is not worth it either.

I suspect ProxiedDevice-Bridge is part of the firewall built-in to Norton, if you know where else it is coming from find out why it is there.
