1st Generation iPad won't start/charge
Hi there, I'm trying to restore a 1st generation iPad but I have this problem:
- The batter seems to be completely exhausted after staying more than 20 days in a cold storage of my local post service and without being charged.
- If I use a 5/10W adapter (or the USB port of a computer, including the MacPro3,1 I use to restore/reinstall such kind of devices) it seems not charging: the screen flashes continuously without other sign of life
- If I use a more powerful power supply, as soon as you plug in, it starts, you see the Apple logo and the it start over again
- If I try a soft reset, with the 5/10W Apple adapter again no sign of life, with the other, you see the screen in which the device asks to be connected with iTunes. Of course, as soon as you disconnect it, it dies immediately.
I tried different cables and power supplies (all working with other devices) without any luck.
Any other things I can do, except to replace the batteries?
Thanks
Gennaro
