Super!
I tried to restrain myself the best I could to focus on the issue you presented to us, but please consider the use of NordVPN and CleanMyMac. Grant Bennett-Alder clearly articulated to only use of VPN software to remotely "tunnel" into business networks for remote administration. The business will use a reputable VPN company for that purpose and NordVPN is not one of them.
Personally I categorize CleanMyMac as Malware. It will provide false claims that it has protected your Mac for the sole purpose of making you believe that it is a valuable piece of software. In reality the software will forever want live on your computer and will sometimes be difficult to remove. As I mentions before, you can use the search tab on the top of this screen to see the many problems it has caused other users by putting "CleanMyMac" in the search field.
First start up in Safe Mode, then delete these files.
Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (UK)
Restart your computer and the warning should be gone.
NordVPN and CleanMyMac are known to cause problems with your system and is recommended to remove those programs using the uninstaller for each. Feel free to use the Search tab on the top of this page and type in each Application to see the troubles those programs have caused.
if your Institution has helped you install a VPN so that you can be "present" on the Institution's network, that is an excellent use of a VPN, and they will support you in its use.
A VPN you install yourself concentrates your data for the vendor's site where it can more easily be harvested for data and sold.
VPN you install yourself DOES NOT improve your security, it strongly diminishes your security, and causes many other problems. I recommend you stop using that.
Excellent help. it worked. Thank you
