My Apple Pay saying something wrong with expiration date and won’t let me update

I’m trying to update my card on Apple Pay but it won’t let me

That’s become a common issue over the last 10 days. The work around is to add another payment method using a four digit expiration date. Remove the problematic card. Restart iPhone. Add problematic card to account using four digit year expiration date. Secondary payment method may then be removed if desired. If the problematic card is also in your Apple Wallet, it may need to be removed from the Apple Wallet App and added manually (not with the camera) using a 4 digit year.
