what if i only have one payment method?

I don’t know what happened. When it wants me to verify my payment details it said it’s declined but my card has money on it.

The issue sounds like an issue with your expiration date. It’s now required that credit and debit cards have a 4 digit year. You’ll have to remove the payment method, restart your iPhone and then manually enter the numbers (do not use the camera), including a 4 digit year for expiration date.


Having subscriptions on your Apple ID account can compound the issue. You may need to add another payment method, using a 4 digit year, and then remove your primary payment method, and update the expiration date. Once the primary card is added back to your account, the secondary payment method can be removed.
