Return apple product without receipt?

got my AirPods 3rd gen as a gift. About a week or 2 of having them, and only wearing them 3 times i know they are not for me because they don’t fit my ears. I have all the packaging except for the original receipt in which I think was thrown out. Am I still able to return them without the receipt?
