Safe Mode on MacBook Air Intel

Hello, I’ve been stumped on trying to figure out what is wrong with my MacBook Air 2020 intel. I’ve tried every key command but the two that actually get me somewhere is “Internet recovery” and “safe mode”. The problem in internet recovery is I’ll get to the spinning glove and the timer but the time gets stuck on 24:00 I’ve waited and restarted it twice to see if it would change but nothing happened with the progress bar or the timer even when it was connected to an Ethernet cable to my router. Safe mode sort of got me somewhere where I was able to login and had a progress bar below my admin picture then switched to the Apple logo with the bar then to a grey screen where it prompted me to choose a language which I did then goes back to the Apple logo. I’ve waited over night and a day for anything to change but it was still the same. I tried the option key command where it prompted up internet recovery and macintosh when I clicked on either it took me to a black screen with my mouse cursor and that was it. I did notice my battery icon had an exclamation mark on it and asked Apple support if that could cause all of this but they said it shouldn’t have made my screen light grey. My laptop is only two years old it was working fine up until Dec 9 2023, now I can’t even access settings o any of my apps because the screen is just grey. I’m trying everything I possibly can before I have to take it In.
