Haven't used my apple id in years, as I have an Android phone now. But wanted to use the apple tv app and needed to sign in, signed in and pw sorted, but can't get past my security questions, even though I answered them with what I thought should have been the answers. Is there some way of getting help to get past this or to reset them?

Once you get full access to your account again, then I would advise to set up Two-Factor Authentication, as a superior authentication compared to security questions. No answers to remember, but you should keep your trusted Apple devices and/or trusted phone number(s) up-to-date.
