L-R Audio Balance Shortcut

For those with imbalanced hearing loss who use hearing aids, earphones, or similar, there is a shortcut solution for adjusting L-R audio balance since iOS 15. This solution uses iOS Accessibility settings, not iOS Shortcuts app. If the below link is allowed, it details the steps required. If not, the method follows in text.

  1. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Audio & Visual and set the desired "Balance"
  2. Go to Settings/Accessibility/Accessibility Shortcut and select "Left/Right Balance" (and any other Accessibility Shortcut settings you'd like on the shortcut menu)
  3. Triple-tap on the right hand button (Power or Home, on an iPhone XS) to raise the Accessibility Shortcuts menu and select/deselect "Left/Right Balance" to enable/disable the balance level you selected in the Audio & Visual screen.

This has been a huge help for me, as I regularly switch between BT-enabled hearing aids, BT wireless earbuds, and car audio. Hope it helps others.
