Apple Watch credit card payments declined but card works with Apply Pay
Same card works fine for all other uses of Apple Pay. The declines are for expiration date or security code, neither of which can I see in the Apple Wallet information for the card. Contacted card issuer and they said everything looks good on their end. They could see the denials for expiration date and security code from attempts to use the Apple Watch but that the same physical card had worked fine. The problems began on Jan 1. Is it possible something needs to be reset? I deleted the card from the wallet and re-added it, but that did not help. And the problem is intermittent. The Watch works for some merchants but not others. Any advice on what to try next?
