iPad Pro Keyboard "This accessory is not supported by this device" - SOLVED (for me at least!)

I have a first-generation iPad Pro with Smart Keyboard. The keyboard more and more began giving the error "iPad Pro Keyboard "This accessory is not supported by this device" - I finally took a really good look at the 3 pins in the connector, and it turns out the middle pin had been pushed down through use (this is 2024 by the way - the iPad is still going strong!). I poked down on the rubber on either side of the pin and - voila! - it works now! It just wasn't making good contact! I had cleaned the pins and the connectors, but that was not the problem. Pushing it up a bit did the trick. Hope this helps someone, as the case is nice but the warranty long ago expired.
