Cant download the software because of a network problem

My mac is now stuck at 10.13 which is fine for now. However, I updated my ipad to 17.2 and immediately saw the notice as in the title. Apparently, I can no longer contact my ipad via itunes which is a problem. Any ideas how to fix this?

I cannot install IOS 18 on my M4 iPad Pro “Cannot Verify Update” I am getting the message “Cannot verify update” when I try to install the update. I thought it was an issue with the servers being overwhelmed so I set it to install overnight. When I woke up and opened the iPad I received 6 of these messages in succession. I have tried.. I then erased the iPad completely and restored from the backup and had the exact same results. Just now when I tried updating again on the iPad I no longer get the option of updating to iOS 18. It says that the iPad is up to date with iPad 17.7. I reconnected to my MacBook Pro and it started the backup/download and once again ejected the iPad before updating. At this point I’m going to give up and wait for a fix. I assume the reason the update is no longer appearing as an option is that they are fixing bugs? Anyway, ill wait to see if anyone else is having this problem. Thanks!

iOS 16.1.1 iPad update issues Anyone else had an issue updating an iPad mini 5th Gen WiFi/Cellular to 16.1.1? Totally crashed my device; unable to update or restore. Took it to the Genius Bar, who replaced it like with like. Got the replacement device home today, started the setup and connected to my MacBook Air when requested. Exact same thing happened. Replacement device also kaput. Cannot be updated or restored. Back to Genius Bar on Monday. What is going on???

Can't Download Update to 16.6/Says WiFi is needed and I'm connected to WiFi I am attempting to update to the latest iOS because it is required for an app I use for work. I'm on an iPhone SE (3rd Gen) and when I got into Software Update, it has the iOS available for download. It's 670 MB and I have 40 GB free of storage space. When I go into the Software Update, the Download and Install is dithered and says that I need a Wi-Fi connection to download. I am connected to my home wifi network and able to browse the internet and more. I've reset my Network Settings and reconnected to the home wifi to try and solve the problem. I even connected to my MacBook Pro and tried doing the update there. It will not go and do it. What other options do you have? The only recent change that I have is that MDM platform (Mobile Iron @ Work) was recently added to the device.

Are you using VPN on the Mac or the iPhone? If so, delete the VPN profiles.

You are using macOS High Sierra, released by Apple in 2017.

Are you using iTunes 12.8.3? You should be.
