Deleted all music on iPhone, storage still full

Finally bought an iPhone and Apple filled it to the brim with music I never intended on putting on the iPhone. Deleted it all and made no difference in storage and am now going through the arduous 3-5 hour process of restoring the iPhone to it's factory settings. What kinda crap is this... this issue goes back at least 10yrs looking through other users with similar issues. Save the canned responses.

Can I delete music from the iCloud back up without it deleting off of my iPhone? My iPhone 15 Pro Max 1TB bombed out this morning - couldn't update or restore to fix. How can I restore deleted music from iPod Touch? I managed to delete old playlist totaling 800 songs that were on my ipod touch which is now reset to factory settings in my craze to fix the problem i created been on the phone for numerous hours with different techs no one else but one straight up told me I have upload all the songs from scratch [Re-Titled by Moderator]
