online there are usb to lightning cables 3 for $4.00. is it safe to buy those? they have a ninety degree bend. the apple store wants $30. although I have bluetooth enabled, it has never charged the mouse, so I just use the cable. I don't have a phone charger.
Being so cheep, anything can happen. I would not trust such cheap cables.

There are other cheaper options that should be better quality and than 3 for $4.

I'm not sure how you know that it's good, but I'll trust your wisdom instead of my ignorance. Didn't know that bluetooth doesn't charge. I've never understood what powers its broadcast. Thanks,
