IPhone 13 pro max running iOS 17.2.1 cannot find my Epson ET-3850 for AirPrint

Printing was always fine to my Epson ET-3850 from my iPhone 13 pro max. After updating my phone to IOS 17.2.1 the iPhone can no longer find the printer. A brand new iPad running 17.2 cannot find the printer either.

However, my other iPhone 13 pro max running IOS 16.6.1 finds the printer and prints just fine.

My MacBook pro running Monterey 12.7.1 works fine with the printer also.

another tidbit, my phone running 17.2.1 but using the epson smart panel app can see the printer.

Clearly this is a problem with IOS 17..x.x

Any help??????
