Why Does Score Editor in Logic Pro X Refuse to Edit 1/32nd Notes?
I have been dealing with this issue for years! Whenever I try to create 1/32nd notes in Logic Pro X's score editor, it converts them to doubled 1/16 notes. I can drag and drop 32nd notes onto the score, and it will automatically convert them to 16th notes. Even if I go to the Piano Roll and manually shrink the notes to half the size, when I return to the score, they are either doubled 1/8th notes or triplets. Can anyone explain how to solve this?
I tried adjusting the quantize to 1/32nd and 1/64th but it doesn't seem to change anything. The only solution I have found so far that works is to open a new score, create the same notes but with 1/16 set to 1/8th notes and 1/32nd to 1/16 notes, setting the tempo to double the speed of my original composition, bouncing it as an audio file and adding it to the original score. This is very time-consuming and difficult.
Please provide suggestions if you have them!
