iPhone 14 battery health

Bought my iPhone in April 2023 and in September it had gone to 98 and now it’s at 94%.

I feel it has dropped way too fast, is this normal and when should I expect to have to replace the battery?

iPhone 14, iOS 17

You have had the phone about 9 months. In general, you can expect for Battery Health....on average.....to decline about 1% a month. That's an average. Some months, it might not drop at all, then drop 2% the next month.

Since your phone is about 9 months old, you would expect the Battery Health to be in the 90-92% range about this time. You are at 94%......better than average.

When the Battery Health is down to 80%, it's time to start thinking about replacing the battery, but that's not a hard and fast rule. If the phone seems to be working fine, you may get to 75% or even a bit less before you notice that things are slowing down and the battery needs recharging more often.
