Is it possible to add EBT/SNAP card to my Apple wallet?

I live in Illinois and is part of my family’s EBT/SNAP, but I’m away for college (still in IL) and wants to find a way to use the card to save money. I’ve read the mobile payment pilot from USDA and the recent press release statement here: https://www.fns.usda.gov/news-item/fns-006.23

Is it possible to add the card to my Apple Wallet?
