How to fix SPSS Server Login Issue post macOS Sonoma update ?

I just updated my OS to Sonoma 14.1.2. I got an issue with opening SPSS after the update, SPSS shows this prompt; Server login: Local Computer. I got no idea what to do. Please help as I need to urgently work with SPSS for my research.

This issue started with MacOS Sonoma 14.0. It affects all users of SPSS versions 29, 28, 27, 26, and 25. Recently, SPSS released a patch that worked on SPSS 29.0.0. Later versions of this patch for other versions of SPSS have also been released. At the following address, you can find the patches for versions of SPSS 29. Best solution is to purchase from the third party vendor suggested by SPSS . As after updating to SONOMA this issue has been persistent and until SPSS /IBM releases the solution it can not be fixed . Now IBM has released the patches so one can go and check if it works https://www.ibm.com/mysupport/s/defect/aCI3p0000004Khs/dt243265?language=en_US .

Alternatives equally powerful like JAMOVI/JASP can be tried for data analysis .
