printing full web page on Wall Street journal with safari

Oftentimes when I read an article on the Wall Street Journal, I like to be able to save it for later. Many times the reader comments are as interesting and informative as the article. When I try to print to a pdf it appears to force me into using a print style sheet or something which does not include the comments. With safari many times I can export the webpage as a pdf, but that results in a gargantuan file. Is there any way to force safari to print what I am displaying? Not the format forced upon me?
