Hotmail account connected to EMAIL SPAM

I am unable to get rid of the email spam that is connected to my hotmail account. I tried deleting and re-installing but the calendar “events” came back after a few minutes. My hotmail is connected to the APPLE ID and if i delete the account it also affects my contacts. Is there a fix for this?

spam filter I followed all of the suggestions to reduce spam mail but I still receive 50-100 spam mail a day. Is there any other way to eliminate all of these spam emails???
