Remove the card from your Apple ID Account, you may also have to remove the card from your Wallet App, and add the card back to your Apple ID Account. When you re-enter the card use a 4 digit number for the year the card expires.

Path to Apple Account:

iphone > Settings > Apple ID (Your Name at tops of screen) > Payment & Shipping > Edit Button (top right corner) > press - minus sign to left of card to delete > Done.

Restart your iPhone and go back to same place and tap Add Payment Method to add your card details again, using a 4 digit number for the year.
