Strange line across my phone

If you take a screenshot and the line does not appear in the picture, then it is a display issue. If the line shows, then it is a logic board issue.

Your result of your research is correct. This is normally a logic board or a display issue.

You can try the following, however, a long shot if it works: Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

That is correct. I would still recommend that you get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store or at an Authorized Service Center to get confirmation that it is the Display/Screen. Once that is complete, then you can decide where to get the display replaced.
