iPhone 13 crashed

I have an iPhone 13, running 17.3 IOS, and 256GB. It crashed yesterday. It was frozen, and then I got a message (from apple?) that my iPhone crashed and asked me to submit my diagnostics to Apple, which I did. Is this normal to submit my diagnostics? (who knows where this info/data is being sent).
