Failed to create activation request

Macbook Pro with M1 Pro. I created a separate admin account as suggested by Screen Time. I used a complex password, copied it into clipboard, and converted my usual account to standard. I got an error message and logged out to check, when I logged back in, I saw the admin account, but the password from clipboard was gone. I went to Recovery Assisstant and it said that now I need to deactivate and then reactivate the Mac. Deactivation went successfully, as I don’t see the device in Find My, but I get this “Failed to create activation request”. I cannot start my Mac even with the standard account I know the password for.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.5
